It's been an absolute pleasure to work with you throughout the year. You are all smart, curious and self-driven and you have given me a perfect opportunity to learn more about computery stuff and to share some of the online resources that can take your learning further.
I wanted to create a nice end of year activity - so here it is: an online challenge that will take you through some of the resources we have been exploring. Try to finish as fast as possible and don't panic if you don't know/remember stuff. You might have missed those sessions. You can always ask for help and don't forget: the challenge is always only with yourself!
- How accurately can you type? Click here to see!
- How fast can you make a lego character? Let's say a dark haired witch with orange arms and a mermaid body? Remember this website? Show me when you're ready!
- What's the surface temperature on Eris? Can you find this information here?
- What are the four instrument families? Have you stumbled upon this information on this website I shared with you?
- How can I get from this school to the Magritte Musem? What bus will take me there?
- How many points can you win at this Maze Race?
- Could you please show me your favourite computer programming completed challenge on Khan Academy?
- Remember Wanderopolis? Would you like to add your own wonder on the wall?
- This Dubrovnik Ramparts picture puzzle was quite a challenge for me! How fast can you solve it?
- Think of 5 new skills/knowledge you would like to gain during the next school year at the Computer Club! Write them on your piece of paper and hand them to your teacher when you finish!
Aaand, this is it! You've made it! Thanks for everything and see you next year!
